Call for Applications: Women for Zero Hunger Program 2024



Are you part of a nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting hunger and food insecurity in your community? The Women for Zero Hunger Program, initiated by Women In Africa (WIA) in collaboration with Stop Hunger has launched its 2024 program in continuation of all effective efforts to see that Goal 2 in the Sustainable Development Goal is actualized across the globe before 2030.


WIA Philanthropy since launched in 2016 has committed its resources to the economic development and support of African women entrepreneurs. The aim is to empower associations to make a difference in the fight against hunger in every African community.



Benefits:

  • More recognition to inspire others.
  • Three selected organizations will each receive €10,000.
  • 6-month personalized mentoring program by Stop Hunger and WIA Philanthropy to enhance skills and strategies.



Eligibility Criteria:

  • Nonprofit organizations with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • African or active in an African country.
  • Working in at least one African Anglophone and/or Francophone country.


Selection Criteria:

  • Number of beneficiaries supported.
  • Quality and scalability of the proposed solution.
  • Focus on benefiting women or girls.
