Requirements for TEF2024 Grant Application


1. Eligibility Criteria


TEF is open to Africans from all 54 African countries. Applicants must have scalable business ideas or businesses operational for no more than 3 years. And he/she must be 18 years of age and above.


2. Registration Process


Visit www.tefconnect.com to register.


No registration fee is required; the entire process is online and totally free. And please beware of scams: TEF did not appoint anyone to collect money for the application process.



3. Application Process


  • Use your government-issued ID; student IDs are not accepted.
  • Upload a Jpeg/png file of your ID/photo (not more than 1mb).
  • Ensure valid phone numbers on WhatsApp are used.
  • It is one application per individual; members of the same family or couples are not allowed to apply separately.



4. Documents Required


  • Valid Government-issued Identification.
  • Official Business Registration Certificate for businesses already operational.
  • Official Evidence of Business Ownership for businesses already operational.
  • Official Evidence of Directors for businesses already operational.
  • Official Consent by Partners to apply for businesses with partners.


After Applying, you will receive a notification about your application status. If rejected, you 

can still reapply in subsequent years until you are selected.
